Handmade with care
Our handmade jewellery has always been crafted with meticulous attention to detail. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and hope your piece remains in excellent condition for years to come. If ever anything happens to your item, it would be our pleasure to repair it. After all, this jewellery is meant to be worn and enjoyed.
Do you have a piece that is damaged, needs adjustment or is showing signs of wear? Count on us to restore it. Send it to our studio (Anne-Marie Chagnon, 5333 Casgrain, stodio 502, Montreal (Quebec), H2T 1X3), and we will assess the cost of repair. If the cost exceeds $25, we will contact you to obtain your authorization before proceeding. If the cost is less than $25, we will go ahead with the repairs. Note that the cost includes labour and materials; delivery is extra.
Important! Don't forget to include your contact information (return address, telephone number and email) when sending the item.
Did a manufacturing flaw escape our attention? Please let us know immediately so that we can remedy the situation as quickly as possible.
Important! Note to residents outside of Canada: On your customs declaration, the value of the package must be marked as $10 or less (or no commercial value). This amount does not relate to the price you paid for the item. It refers to the value of the defective item that you are returning to the manufacturer. If you do not mark the package as having a value of $10 or less, we will refuse the delivery (as it could incur disproportionately high customs clearance fees and taxes).
Lifetime warranty
All elastic bands, earring French clasps and earring posts are lifetime guaranteed. (No proof of purchase necessary, return shipping and redelivery costs not covered)
365-days warranty
All Anne-Marie Chagnon products are fully guaranteed against all defects in material and workmanship, for a period of 365 days. Anne-Marie Chagnon creations are made from the finest materials, but in the unlikely event of a defect occurring during the warranty period, please return us the product with your proof of purchase or bring it to the boutique where you purchased it. Return shipping not covered, redelivery costs covered.
As all our raw materials are carefully handmade, it is normal to find some imperfections. Therefore, this warranty does not cover such characteristics of material.
Component parts will show wear and tear over time, and eventually may need to be refurbished or replaced. This type of normal wear and tear is not covered by our guarantee. This warranty also does not cover any damage caused by misuse or neglect, or damage by a commercial carrier.
Maintenance tips
Although it does not oxidize, pewter can react with the pH of your skin. If it changes appearance, clean with a dry cloth designed to shine silver. Do the same to restore the shine of 22-karat gold-plated parts that could lose their purity in contact with pewter. Pewter can also be cleaned with a non-abrasive scouring powder (do not use on gold-plated pieces). Thorougly rinse and dry jewellery afterwards.
